Fun times

Fun times this weekend at the NJ specialty show! Omg saw such beautiful dogs! Gorgeous Westies ( but mom Beanie beats them all hands down)...and I saw a brindle Scotty, stunning Samoyed in a stroller (I want one), Shelties, Labs, Poodles, and more! Mom had fun too.  We met other Westie lovers, and one family ready to get a Westie of their own! I had so many kids play with me I was in heaven.  See y'all next year!

Hello furiends! Duncan's mom here, had to hack in & post the video below...You may recall that Duncan posed in a tux some time ago, and he & Beanie love to eat chicken. So, without further adieu, Fifty Shades of Chicken....(published by Random House, on sale at your local bookstore!)

Yes, furiends, I am a dog with certain sensitivities, with compassion, and empathy.  Mom & I sat on the couch curled up next to Human Mom while she watched The Help for the 3rd time.  And yes I watched too.  I can certainly appreciate the good and the bad when it comes to women's issues, or those of race, family, and the struggles of a society that continues to contend with gender bias and other awful discrimination.  So many problems, no simple solutions.
Join me in wishing my human brother a speedy recovery, his heart is struggling to overcome a loss of sorts. Luv u J, think peace!

Dogs Are Smart

Hello!  

Dogs are smart!

We have a little snow here, and I LOVE running around, then when I get cold,

I run right up to the door.  Tonight, even though it was dark, I still ran & ran, 'cause I love it!

Then I played a trick on Mom (Beanie & human mom!).

I ran up to them & poked Human Mom on her knee, then real quiet & stealth-like,

I ran!

I ran to a dark corner of the yard.

I heard mom ask, "Where's Duncan?"

I heard her ask a few times!

Then I felt bad she couldn't see me, & I ran right up to her! Ha! She figured out it was

me that poked her.  I was playing tag!  And she was it!

We laughed & laughed at how silly I was!

I won that round BOL!

Getting Ready for Christmas

The tree is ready, the gifts are wrapped (almost!), the time is near...wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a healthy new year to you and yours!
